The first (and not only) tour with the Rolling Stones, May 1964: David John and the Mood were a late addition and opened the show. Then they were Julie Grant’s backing group, and in the second half, John and Malcolm provided bass and drums for the Overlanders. PI: “Mick Jagger was very nice and talkative, but the others were rather stand-offish and elitist.”
